West Cary Barbell is a small, no frills company dedicated to fabricating affordable strength training equipment that does not sacrifice quality or performance.  Founded by a mechanical engineer turned powerlifter, West Cary Barbell not only designs and builds its products but regularly puts them to use in the gym.   

You will likey notice that our product photos weren't shot by a professional photographer in a studio, but by us in the gym.  Typically the product development cycle goes like this:

1. We need something.
2. We design it then go in to the shop and make it.
3. We test it in the gym.
4. If it meets  our demands we take a picture of it and add it to our products list.
